A Little About Me
Hi, I’m Regina Arnold — nurse by profession, artist at heart, lifelong animal lover, wife, mom, and the creator behind my adult grayscale coloring books.

During the week, you’ll still find me working as a nurse, a career that has taught me patience, compassion, attention to detail, and just how important it is to have something that helps you slow down and breathe. Long before I began creating coloring books, I also earned my veterinary assistant diploma, which probably surprises no one who knows how much I love animals.

Life outside of work is wonderfully full. I’m a wife to an incredibly supportive husband who encourages my creativity and all the big ideas that tend to come with it, and I’m a mom of four. Our family also includes two horses and two dogs, so there is rarely a dull moment around here.

Horses have always been one of my greatest passions. There is something about their beauty, strength, movement, and spirit that completely captures me — and that same love of detail and emotion often finds its way into the artwork I create.

And then there’s coloring.
What began as something I simply loved doing became a creative world of its own. I love taking a grayscale image and bringing it to life with alcohol markers, colored pencils, pastels, acrylic pens, and plenty of experimentation along the way. Eventually, being a colorist inspired me to begin creating the kinds of books I wanted to color myself: realistic, beautiful, dramatic, romantic, and filled with images that invite you to get lost in the details.

My books are created from the perspective of someone who actually colors. I think about the experience on the page — the shadows, the details, the faces, the fabrics, the backgrounds, and all those little areas where a colorist gets to make the image completely their own.

I wear a lot of hats — wife, mom, nurse, animal lover, horse girl, colorist, and adult grayscale coloring book creator — but creativity is the place where all those parts of my life seem to come together.
